At EBMS, every client relationship begins with a consultation. This policy outlines how our consultations are structured, what you can expect, and the terms that apply to booking and attending your appointment.
Types of Consultations
EBMS offers three consultation formats to suit different needs and stages of engagement:
Discovery Call (Complimentary): A brief introductory call to learn about your situation, answer initial questions, and determine whether EBMS is the right fit for your needs. No fee applies.
Initial Consultation ($175 USD): A focused one-on-one session to explore your goals in greater depth, review relevant background information, and outline potential next steps. A credit of $175 USD may be applied toward eligible service fees if you retain EBMS within the applicable timeframe.
Comprehensive Strategy Consultation ($250 USD): An in-depth session designed for clients with complex or multi-faceted needs. This consultation includes a detailed review of your circumstances and a strategic overview of recommended services. A credit of $250 USD may be applied toward eligible service fees if you retain EBMS within the applicable timeframe.
Booking Your Consultation
Consultations are booked through our online booking system. You will be asked to provide your name, contact information, and a brief description of your needs so we can prepare appropriately for your appointment.
All consultations are conducted virtually via secure video or telephone. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation with connection details and any preparation instructions.
Preparation
To make the most of your consultation time, we encourage you to gather any relevant documents, notes, or background information in advance. The more context you are able to share, the more tailored and productive your session will be. If you are unsure what to prepare, our team is happy to guide you before your appointment.
Punctuality and Attendance
Please join your consultation at the scheduled time. If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible at [email protected].
If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, EBMS reserves the right to treat the appointment as a no-show. In such cases, the consultation fee is non-refundable and a new booking will be required.
Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances change. If you need to reschedule your consultation, please provide at least 24 hours notice by contacting us at [email protected].
Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours notice may be accommodated at our discretion. We will make every reasonable effort to find a suitable alternative time.
Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to our Refund Policy for information on fee refunds.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to attend without prior notice, will generally result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.
Consultation Fee Credits
If you proceed to retain EBMS for an eligible service following your paid consultation, the consultation fee paid may be credited toward your professional service fees. This credit is subject to the terms of your service agreement and must be applied within the timeframe specified at the time of booking. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Confidentiality
All information shared during a consultation is treated with strict confidentiality. EBMS does not share client information with third parties except where required by law or with your explicit consent. Please note that no formal professional relationship is established until a written service agreement has been signed.
