This Payment Policy outlines how professional fees are structured, when payment is due, and the methods available to you. We aim to make the payment process straightforward and transparent so you can focus on what matters most.
Professional Fees
EBMS professional fees are set out on our Investment page and in your service agreement. All published fees are in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated in writing.
Some services are offered at fixed published rates. Others are quoted individually based on the scope, complexity, and specific requirements of your engagement. In all cases, a detailed fee proposal will be provided and agreed upon in writing before work begins.
What Is and Is Not Included
Professional fees cover the consulting, coaching, administrative, and support services provided directly by EBMS as described in your service agreement.
Fees do not include government processing fees, filing fees, application fees, courier or postage charges, translation or interpretation services, notarization fees, or any other third-party costs, unless explicitly stated in your service agreement. These additional costs remain the responsibility of the client.
Taxes
Canadian clients are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) based on their province or territory of residence, in accordance with Canadian tax law.
International clients are generally billed at the published USD rates. Where Canadian tax legislation requires otherwise, applicable taxes will be noted on your invoice.
Accepted Payment Methods
EBMS accepts secure online payments through PayPal, which supports major credit cards and debit cards. PayPal provides a safe and encrypted payment environment for all transactions.
Additional payment arrangements may be available for certain engagements. Please speak with us during your consultation if you have specific payment requirements.
Payment Timing
Consultation fees are due at the time of booking and must be paid in full to confirm your appointment.
For ongoing or project-based services, payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Depending on the nature and duration of the engagement, fees may be structured as a deposit upon signing, milestone payments, or full payment in advance.
Work will not commence until the agreed payment or deposit has been received and confirmed.
Payment Plans
Payment plans may be available for eligible services and customized engagements. If a payment plan is agreed upon, the terms, schedule, and any applicable conditions will be set out in your service agreement. Please raise this during your consultation if you would like to explore this option.
Late Payments
Invoices are due by the date specified in your service agreement. If payment is not received by the due date, EBMS reserves the right to pause or suspend work on your file until the outstanding balance is settled.
EBMS also reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate consistent with applicable law, and to recover reasonable costs incurred in collecting unpaid fees.
Invoicing and Receipts

Currency and Exchange
All fees are quoted and billed in USD unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients paying from outside the United States are responsible for any currency conversion fees or exchange rate differences charged by their financial institution or payment provider.
