Will I work directly with Sophie Nelson-Crouse?

Sophie remains actively involved in client engagements. Depending on the nature of your matter, you may also work with members of the EBMS team or trusted professional partners to ensure you receive the appropriate level of support.

Do you provide legal advice?

No. EBMS does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Where legal services are required, we encourage clients to consult a qualified lawyer.

What immigration-related services does EBMS provide?

EBMS provides professional administrative support for immigration-related matters, including document organization, application preparation support, process guidance, and coordination with licensed professionals where required. EBMS does not provide regulated immigration advice or legal representation. When a matter requires regulated legal or immigration services, clients are referred to or work in coordination with licensed RCICs or lawyers.

EBMS was founded by Sophie Nelson-Crouse, who holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons.)) and brings a strong background in business, legal studies, and administrative services.

Some services are offered at published starting prices, while others are quoted based on the scope, complexity, and requirements of the engagement. A detailed proposal is provided before work begins.

Consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the appointment has been confirmed. If you retain EBMS for an eligible service within the applicable timeframe, a portion of the consultation fee may be credited toward your professional service fees, where applicable.

Do I have to pay Canadian sales tax?

Canadian clients are subject to applicable GST/HST based on their province or territory of residence. International clients are generally billed at the published USD rates unless Canadian tax laws require otherwise.
